The Flying Taco Mexican Grill started as an idea in 2020 when business partners, Ann and Shelby were craving a unique dining experience for their small town. Despite the lockdowns across the country they put their minds together to begin working on building their dream destination. After months of planning, designing, and taco testing The Flying Taco was born and open for business in December of 2021.
If you’re looking for a fun dining experience with a twist on authentic Mexican food, you’re headed to the right place! Our menu features mouthwatering tacos, an extensive cocktail & beer menu, and weekly specials to keep you coming back for more. All of our dishes are prepared in-house daily using top quality ingredients by our kick-a** chefs. Consistency and quality is important to us! That’s why our food is freshly sourced from multiple local vendors to ensure the highest quality ingredients are used in each dish. Looking for gluten free or vegetarian menu options? We’ve guac that too!
Our open air and open kitchen concepts provide a friendly interactive experience. Each time you walk into the restaurant, you can expect to be greeted by a friendly taco team member who will guide you to your table in our dining room, second story game room, or balcony. All locations feature scenic views overlooking the Susquehanna River against the balcony rails or through our garage doors.

Meet Our Chefs
Angel – Head Chef
Our head chef Angel is from Michoacán Mexico and is the backbone of our kitchen. He was trained with top chefs after cooking at a Michelin Awarded restaurant in New York City. Angel’s food highlights the fresh ingredients and spicy flavors of traditional Mexican cuisine with a Tex-Mex twist.
Santiago – Sous Chef
Santiago is originally from El Salvador and has been a longtime friend with Angel after they cooked together in New York City. Santiago serves as our grill master and loves using locally sourced and fresh ingredients from various vendors to compliment his charred meat & fish specials. If you’re looking for the best steak in town, Santiago is your guy!
Braydin – Station Chef
Braydin is a local resident from Towanda, Pennsylvania. He is a young chef who brings so much energy to our kitchen. He has begun learning the art of Mexican food and trains with our head and sous chef to know every part of the kitchen. He has a passion for creating delicious, flavorful food and ensures all dishes are prepared with precision to ensure consistency each time you order at The Flying Taco.
